The perfect bike for modern gravel racing? It's this. Lightweight, tough, properly aero, fully adaptable and supremely capable - the Grail CFR leaves no stone unturned. High-grade fibres laid up with technical precision result in our lightest Grail frameset with stripped back features and a racing fit fully focussed on all-out, all-terrain speed.

Monster 57 mm tyre clearance

When it comes to picking the fastest tyre for race day, the Grail won’t ever hold you back. We’ve engineered space for 57 mm (2.25") tyres front and rear with 4 mm ISO clearance to spare. Go big on volume to unlock speed over the rough or keep things tight to maximise mud clearance where others have to get off and walk, the Grail charges through it all.

All-terrain aero advantage

Even the world’s fastest take 9 hours to complete Unbound 200. The longer you‘re out there, the more aero matters. The goal for the Grail was maximum aero performance at real-world race pace (35 km/h). Benchmarked in the wind tunnel against the fastest competitors, including Cervélo’s Aspero-5, the Grail tops the charts – nothing this capable goes this hard.

PACE meets Control

The perfect fit in the palm of your hands. PACE Bar gives you 50 mm width and 20 mm height adjustment so you can dial in your perfect fit in minutes. All these options require just a single TX25 tool. No steerer cuts. No excess spacer stacks. No brake bleeds. New Control Drops developed for Grail combine confidence and comfort over rough, technical terrain.

VCLS Aero: Fast meets smooth

Aero seatposts are built for speed, not comfort. Our groundbreaking SP0093 VCLS Aero seatpost changes that. Its sleek design and precision layup boost vertical compliance by over 25% compared to a rigid equivalent. Taking the sting out of rough surfaces to reduce the impact on critical muscle groups, VCLS Aero is your key to riding stronger, for longer.

LOAD Storage: Stash all you need

Always there, out of sight and easy to access. Our expanded LOAD Down Tube Storage system stashes all you need to get out of any mid-ride bind. The secure cap houses a minipump, multitool and CO2 inflator with Dynaplug, while the LOAD Tool Pack has space for a TPU tube, tyre levers and 16 g CO2 canister. Parts sold separately.

Bike classification

Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain in permanent contact to the ground. These are in general road racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross and gravel bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tyre contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
