Welcome to the start line of true all-terrain speed. Sharing core features trickled down from the Traka-winning Grail CFR including benchmark tyre clearance, outstanding handling, one-by shift accuracy plus carbon wheel lightness, the Grail CF opens up a new world of off-road performance, ready for race day, perfect for every day.

Monster 57 mm tyre clearance

When it comes to picking the fastest tyre for race day, the Grail won’t ever hold you back. We’ve engineered space for 57 mm (2.25") tyres front and rear with 4 mm ISO clearance to spare. Go big on volume to unlock speed over the rough or keep things tight to maximise mud clearance where others have to get off and walk, the Grail charges through it all.

All-terrain aero advantage

Even the world’s fastest take 9 hours to complete Unbound 200. The longer you‘re out there, the more aero matters. The goal for the Grail was maximum aero performance at real-world race pace (35 km/h). Benchmarked in the wind tunnel against the fastest competitors, including Cervélo’s Aspero-5, the Grail tops the charts – nothing this capable goes this hard.

Carbon control and comfort

You’ll notice our CP0039 Gravel Cockpit's sculpted ergonomics and backsweep from the very first ride as they provide natural resting places for your hands with reduced pressure points across multiple positions. 16° flare boosts control when things get technical, and Gear Groove lets you adapt your cockpit with the accessories you need for your ride.

VCLS Aero: Fast meets smooth

Aero seatposts are built for speed, not comfort. Our groundbreaking SP0093 VCLS Aero seatpost changes that. Its sleek design and precision layup boost vertical compliance by over 25% compared to a rigid equivalent. Taking the sting out of rough surfaces to reduce the impact on critical muscle groups, VCLS Aero is your key to riding stronger, for longer.

Frame mounts for fast packs

The Grail CF features standard top tube mounts plus mounts within the frame specifically for the Canyon x Cyclite Midloader. We've collaborated with Cyclite to create a premium, lightweight-yet-durableTop Tube Bag and Midloader set that is the perfect match for the Grail, sitting flush with the frame and cockpit, with no straps required for a precision fit.

Bike classification

Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain in permanent contact to the ground. These are in general road racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross and gravel bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tyre contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
