Stiff, comfort-boosting seat tube

Stiff where you need it, flexible where you want it. The Maximus seat tube delivers high bottom bracket stiffness, comfort-boosting compliance, and enhanced comfort around the seatpost area thanks to its unique cross-sectional design – with an asymmetrical lower form transitioning to a fully symmetrical upper form delivering perfectly balanced stiffness for smooth, powerful pedalling with no comfort drawbacks.

Compliant and stiff

Engineered to exploit the material properties of carbon, the Endurace frame delivers the vertical flex needed for shock-absorbing compliance and comfort on broken roads, while maintaining high levels of stiffness for fast sprinting and precise cornering. It’s an engineering approach we call VCLS – vertical compliance, lateral stiffness.

Clean, clear design

We developed the Endurace CF’s clear, direct, and functional aesthetic to emphasise the technical qualities of the frame – fast and comfortable. The overall profile, including low-slung seat stays, echo the performance features of our latest-generation Ultimate, with the flattened, wide top tube and the lower seat tube highlighting the frame’s vertical flexing and comfort credentials. Integrated cable routing is tidy, clean, and simple to maintain too.

Bike classification

Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain in permanent contact to the ground. These are in general road racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross and gravel bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tyre contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
