We worked closely with aerodynamic experts Swiss Side to create wind-tunnel tested shapes and vent patterns that cut through the air while keeping you cool and comfortable during your hardest efforts.

The Mips® Safety System revolutionised the world of helmet safety, and both Canyon helmets feature Mips® for added protection in the event of a collision – while maximising ventilation, comfort, and fit.

Introducing HighBar Systems

The all-new HighBar takes helmet performance and protection to a whole new level. Launching on Canyon helmets for the first time, the innovative HighBar arms provide valuable gains in aerodynamics and temperature regulation, while the ratchet dial offers easy, one-handed adjustment for a perfectly customised fit every ride.

High-level comfort

The HighBar System’s unique arms ensure your helmet gets positioned correctly every time you wear it. The micro-adjustable dial then lets you find the perfect fit, which can be easily altered while riding. Plus, the arms are proven to be up to 5 degrees cooler than traditional webbing straps.

High-level hearing

Wind tunnel tests have shown the HighBar System can reduce sound levels at the ears significantly compared to conventional helmet straps. With less wind noise, you can concentrate on those fast descents and sprints – totally free from distracting strap flutter.

Temperature regulation is one of the most important elements in any cycling performance. Using both wind tunnel trials and computational fluid dynamics testing, we created a vent design that’s significantly cooler than competitor’s helmets – helping you stay focused under pressure.

Stay seen

A reflective treatment applied on the rear of the helmet bounces light back to its source, helping you stay visible to other road users. Plus, an integrated port in the rear of the helmet perfectly fits a magnetic Canyon light.

Aerodynamics

We worked with the industry’s most trusted experts in aerodynamics to produce a helmet that offers a true air-slicing advantage. The Stingr CFR’s optimised shape, combined with the aero gains of the strapless HighBar retention system, has been tested to save an incredible 10-20 watts at 60-70kph.
