Smaller riders have big ambitions, so we've used the exact same construction techniques and materials that feature on the bikes ridden at the world's top races. Delivering the perfect fit for aspiring riders to build speed, this bike puts them in control and in charge.

Key features

Elite carbon frames

A top quality carbon frame, made using the same materials and processes as the ones the Canyon pros ride, helps young riders develop vital skills. Lightweight and durable, this frame is also feature packed – each bike comes with an integrated seatpost clamp, Impact Protection Unit, and dropper post compatibility.

The right parts for the job

This bike comes with a cleverly chosen spec that suits smaller mountain bikers. Shorter cranks help prevent pedal strikes on the trails and while the narrower bars provide a more comfortable fit, the gear ratio is best suited to younger riders who need easier gears to climb uphill, and the tuneable fork lets them get all of the performance that you'd expect from our adult bikes.

Stay hydrated

Hydration is so important for young riders, it helps keep them in the best condition to climb up hills and focused for the descents. This bike can carry 1.5 litres of water with the Canyon Fuel bottles, even on the smallest frames with the Canyon Sideloader water bottle cages.

Impact Protection Unit (IPU)

Our latest IPU – short for Impact Protection Unit – is perfectly integrated into the frame at the headset and protects the top tube from over-rotating handlebars in the event of a crash. The system doesn’t affect the bike’s manoeuvrability – you can still turn the bars far enough to nail the tightest switchbacks on the course.

Catch slipped chains

Pedalling uphill in the wrong gear and changing to an easier one can put a lot of strain on the drivetrain. If the pressure is strong enough, sometimes the chain can fall off, damaging the frame and causing riders to stumble. The chain catcher on the Lux World Cup Young Hero helps to prevent this and keeps riders on track.
